JUDr. Jaromír Harvánek, CSc.
Lawyers´ profile: JUDr. Jaromír Harvánek, CSc. has been a Czech Bar Association lawyer since 1995. After graduating from the Faculty of Law in Brno, he worked as a notarial candidate of a regional court in Brno, afterwards he has moved to a position of an assistant professor at the Department of Legal Theory of Masaryk University in Brno where he has been working ever since. He has obtained his doctoral degree in 1991 at Charles University. He is an author of seventy vocational papers, monographs, and textbooks. During his juristic praxis, he was, namely, for years an assistant of a judge at a Constitutional Court of the Czech Republic and from 1998-2010 he was also a member of a scanning commission of a chairman of Office for Fair Trading. He has been teaching at a private university B.I.B.S.,a.s.
